A quick rant!!

Why must people be so rude especially when they want something from you? I know from having worked in the service industry for quite a few years now that the customer is always right and you must make their time with you as enjoyable as possible. I have met some good eggs so to speak, they are the ones that make getting through the day bearable and to them I say Thank You for being decent human beings, it's refreshing in this cynical world we live in. So i'm going to try to live my life better, with more smiles and more thank you's and pleases, b/c they go a lot farther than being rude does. We are all just regualar human beings, and in the end we are all the same.

Ok now that i've vented, haha I would like to thank my mother and father for making me see the world that way and for trying to make me see that being mad at someone or a sitution normally does not give you the best results, you will catch more bees with honey (oldy but a goody). So thanks mom and pops, can't believe i'm going to say this but you guys actually know what your talking about after 25 years of teaching!! haha

So I have been taking this awesome, amazing dance class. It's a mix between yoga, ballett and choregraphed dance numbers!! It's soo awesome I can't event tell you guys, it's got this 80's theme to it like Jane Fonda meets Flash Dance, people wear these crazy tights straight from the American Apparell 80's closet with leotards over the tights. The gayest men on the planet frequent this class and sayshay like they were born to it. I will just say I am very white and not very rythimically inclined, so I'm normally in the back shaking my booty for all i'm worth. I may not be that great but I sure do have one hell of a time doing it. Our instructor has a full Jesus beard, long curly ponytail that he sports on top of his head and some amazing tights get-up that clings to his super skinny frame!! It makes me feel like i'm back in austin and one of the locals is teaching the class. But boy can he move, he comes up with these hard core broadway/back up dancer moves that would make even Brittany Spears (back in the day) shake her hips to. The class is kinda split between the really good dancers to the really not soo good. I love when we get to split up into groups I can watch the really good ones go after it. It's like i've stepped into a new york dance class, they are soo good. So even though I'm not the best at dancing, (i'm getting better) I do have a great time doing it, and that's what really matters. It gets me out of my head for an hour and out of my crazy life and I get to just move my body and learn what I can do. It's cool but i'm actually getting better, pretty soon I'll be on Dancing with The Star's ( I just have to get that star thing down first). So here's to trying new things even if they scare you silly or you don't think you would be very good at it, you might just surprise yourself!! And I get to wear some awesome tights and a side pony tail, owe yeah!! I dare you guys to go out and try something new, something you keep putting off no matter how small or big just as long as it makes you smile, makes you laugh!! Go do something fun, just because!! No expectations, that's the best kind of fun!!
Thanks for listening to my crazyness that is my life out here in la la land, till later!!
love

Hello There!!

So I went to a Laker's game the other night which was so cool. My friend got some tickets from his work and we got to sit in this amazing suite, we felt very V.I.P, haha. The game was good but I was a little disapointed because the team and the fans seemed to not be interested in the game at all until the 4th quater. It's like I was watching two different games, for 3 quarters there was so so playing going on by the Laker's and the fans did not care, not much cheering it just seemed to be very half hearted. But then the 4th quarter rolled around and it's like there was an explotion of spirit. I think that's really annoying that the team who get's paid lot's of money to do what they do, don't give it their all. And the fans they should be ashamed, maybe if they were more spirited the players would get more into it. It was my first Laker's game so all in all it was tons of fun and the suite was soo cool, especially the free desert cart!! Life definately has it's perks when you go V.I.P!!

I watched the Oscar's last sunday and I was a bit disapointed in the whole thing, it was pretty boring and tame. The Oscar's are my favorite awards show not just because it's the highest award you can receive for acting but it's also so an infamous show for it's acceptance speeches and normally very entertaining. I loved the year Hugh Jackman hosted and basically did the show "on the cheap" with a hail to Broadway and times gone by, he had these amazingly funny and awesome musical numbers to introduce all of the films nominated; It was pretty genious. This year there were some haha's but not that many and everyone in the audience looked bored to tears. When you can't get an actor to at least pretend to like what's going on on stage then you aren't doing a great job of it. Here's to a better and more creative next year!!

Until next time
your's truly!!
